Nice, Ill have to look into the changes. I did notice the carousel changes, I had to hit Ctrl + F5 to see the changes since the buttons were at the bottom, but by clearing the browsers cache, that fixed it.

This is not a "major" fix, but a small fix none the less. All it is, is an alignment of the content of the blocks if the block goes wider than the content. Right now, it stays of the left. This fix centers it but also I added a missing border by default.

You have 2 options on how to fix it. You can either redownload it and grab the block and upload that to your site overwriting the one you currently have, OR, follow these instructions below to implement the simple fix.

OPEN: public_html/blocks/block-Evo_Menu.php

FIND:

Code: [ Select all ]

.menu-container {
    border-radius: 4px;
    box-shadow: 0 2px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
    overflow: hidden;
    max-width: 250px;
    font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
}

REPLACE WITH:

Code: [ Select all ]

.menu-container {
    border-radius: 4px;
    box-shadow: 0 2px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
    border: 1px solid;
    overflow: hidden;
    max-width: 250px;
    font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
    margin: 0 auto;
}

If you look closely, you will see that all I did was add in these 2 lines:

Code: [ Select all ]

    border: 1px solid;
    margin: 0 auto;

That's it. Just save and close and you are good.

There is a minor bug that was found & fixed by ##GazJ##. Below is the attached file, all you need to do is upload the file, keeping the folder structure.

What was changed:
The PHP each() function is deprecated as of PHP 7.2 and was removed in PHP 8.0. There were 2 each() functions found in this file. Those sections were fixed and replaced with updated code.

Here is the diffchecker:
https://www.evolution-xtreme.co.uk/modules.php?name=Diffchecker&id=6080e16ba5602108

The edits to pay attention to are as follows. Lines 219 - 221 and lines 224 - 228.
Also, like every file I work on now, I do remove all the whitespaces that were removed, which you can see with the highlighted line number in yellow.

PostForum: Evo Updates & Bug Fixes Posted: Fri Nov 07, 2025 6:26 pm Subject: [Fix] PHP Warning: Undefined array key 1 in /public_html/th
In the last month, I have had a bunch of people approace me with an error like this showing up in your logs:

PHP Warning:  Undefined array key 1 in /home/public_html/themes/YOUR_THEME/theme.php on line 100

Of course that is not a exact copy for your paths may be different, theme name is different, and the line number will be different, but in sense, if you open up your theme that is having that error, the code looks like this:

PHP:  [ Select all ]

<?php
$username
= $cookie[1];
   if ($username == "") {
       $username = "Anonymous";
   }

Here is a simple fix for it. Just replace that code there with this:

PHP:  [ Select all ]

<?php
$username
= $cookie[1] ?? "Anonymous";

That's it.
Just don't add the <?php as that is just this system on this site. I need to see about fixing that so it's hidden here like on my site.

Now, why is that happening?

Well, in older PHP versions, accessing an undefined array key like $cookie[1] would just return "null" with a notice.
But, now in PHP 8.x+, it was upgraded to a warning, which is what you are seeing in that error. So, by adding the null coalescing operator, ( ?? ), it checks to see if $cookie[1] is set and not null, and if it is null, it will just say "Anonymous", since that was the purpose of the following if statement.

You don't have these files ready because I've tried editing them several times and I can't. My site keeps going offline due to an error.

First post, I do have pre-edited files available. Just like the first update, which is required to have installed before this one.
I do recommend editing the files yourself, but, if your site is a new site without many modifications, then the pre-edited files are just fine.

Original Post:  https://www.headshotdomain.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=8581#8581

This only appeared so far on my website that I know of, but, I fixed it none-the-less. If you are super lazy and want to just download the new file and replace the one you have, that's fine, but I can say that is more work than just doing the code change.

File to fix:
public_html/includes/custom_files/Analytics/web-analytics.php

Find on line 22:

Code: [ Select all ]

define('LAST_RUN_FILE', ANALYTICS_INCLUDES_PATH . 'cache/.last_geoip_cleanup');

Replace with:

Code: [ Select all ]

define('LAST_RUN_FILE', __DIR__  . '/cache/.last_geoip_cleanup');

Save & Close

So far, as long as it isn't putting errors into your error log, then you are okay with keeping it as is, but if you start getting an error like:
[29-Jul-2025 18:17:59 America/New_York] PHP Warning:  file_put_contents(./includes/custom_files/Analytics/cache/.last_geoip_cleanup): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/YOUR_SITES_PATH/includes/custom_files/Analytics/web-analytics.php on line 188
[29-Jul-2025 18:17:59 America/New_York] PHP Warning:  chmod(): No such file or directory in /home/www/YOUR_SITES_PATH/includes/custom_files/Analytics/web-analytics.php on line 189

I would fix it.

I wasn't seeing this error until a few days ago. I don't know if my error logging has changed, or I did something, but, what ever it is, this is the fix. I already updated the download on both websites, so if you DL it from after this post was made, the no worries.

It was brought to my attention yesterday about a bug in the ACP -> Preferences -> Security section, when he went to click the info tab, no popup and no link was there to help them get to the reCAPTCHA to set it up. Down below is the fix, just download the attached file it and upload it to your site keeping the folder structure, overwriting what you have.

The download of the CMS has NOT been updated yet with this.

Yes, I did say you can download from either this site or my site and just use that one file. 😉
Of course, that is only if you already have the module installed.

While looking at my site and here, I notticed if you typed something in the shoutbox, the counter would count down, (as it should), but when you hit Enter or clicked the submit, the counter didn't reset. So I went back to my local and realized, I forgot to put something that was on my local, into the release.

So, if you don't want to do the extremely simple edit, just redownload the module from either this site or my site, and just update the public_html/modules/Shout/includes/shout-block-script.js file with a fresh one from a fresh download, over writing the one that you have on your site.

If you want to do the edit, all you need to do is this:

OPEN: public_html/modules/Shout/includes/shout-block-script.js

On line 50 -51, FIND:

Code: [ Select all ]

document.getElementById("message").value = '';
            fetchMessages();

In between those lines, put:

Code: [ Select all ]

updateCharacterCounter();

So it should look like this:

Code: [ Select all ]

document.getElementById("message").value = '';
            updateCharacterCounter();
            fetchMessages();

Save and close.

Now, clear your browsers cache and your sites cache, and you are good to go.
I built the function, and I did put it in my local server, but, never put the trigger in the release version. Whoops.

Okay, working on someones site and checking error logs, I found they had a bunch of errors I have never seen before. After looking into it. I had written up a fix for this issue.

What was happening:

When someone went to the members list module and just say, tried visiting a page that didn't exist. It would throw an error. So what I did was wrote some code that counts the total number of valid users in the database, excluding anonymous users and those with a user level of -1. It then calculates how many pages are needed to display all users based on the number of items per page. By comparing the requested page number to the maximum possible pages, it prevents invalid page numbers that would cause SQL errors. This ensures the query always uses a safe and valid range for pagination.

To fix this, download the attached file and upload it to your site, keeping the file structure and overwrite your current file. To test to see it working, just go to your site, and put at the end of your URL this:

  /modules.php?name=Members_List&page=9999

If you don't see an error, you did it right.

PostForum: Evo Updates & Bug Fixes Posted: Mon Apr 28, 2025 6:16 pm Subject: Re: [Security Update] CSRF Token Protection (UpDate 2 of 2)
Okay, this post is for those theme develpers that do a seperate login model like I have on my site, or is used on the RD-GenasiICE themes that are available in the theme selector on this site. If you have a login model where if they click "Login" on your site and instead of taking you to the Your_Account, a lightbox model popsup with the login, you may need to add in the scrf_token for some are using it and some arn't atm. It will be default in the next release, but for now, what you can do is if the function exist, then it will use the code, if not, then it wont. To do that, in the popup model, where you would put in the gfxcheck for the recaptcha, under that, you just need to put in this:

Code: [ Select all ]

if (function_exists('csrfInputField')){
                     echo csrfInputField()."\n";
                  }

So, in all, it shoudl look something like this:

Code: [ Select all ]

<?php
                  $gfxchk = array( 2, 4, 5, 7 );
                  echo security_code( $gfxchk, 'large', '1' );

                  if (function_exists('csrfInputField')){
                     echo csrfInputField()."\n";
                  }
                  ?>

I hope this helps a bit.

For those that are installing this on your site and you need to edit your theme, this is what you would need to do IF your theme has it's own login model/page.
