2.0.10 Update is coming soon
by Lonestar
The update itself is done, but the problem holding me back now is the default evo theme, I have attempted to make it responsive, but it is just not happening right now, unless I have the original unflattened PSD, which I no longer have due to TheMortal been away.
So I have decided to release my blackmagic theme as the new default theme for xtreme, But those of you that have paid for the theme, fear not, your copies will be update to a pro edition, once the new theme update comes out, which will have a lot more features than the theme does now.
So Update is ready, just have to clean up the coding in the blackmagic theme and I will release the update.

Great news Lonestar, thank you very much. Looking forward to the BlackMagic Pro version or any other theme you do, they will be excellent as is this CMS.

Thank you Lonestar for this ad

Great News!!
do you have any changelog or feature list?
do you have any changelog or feature list?
Most of the changes are bugs that have been popping up and more responsiveness has been added, I have update/changed that much, it would take me days to list of the changes I have made.
I have however added a template system, which will better allow developer and designers the ability to better blend modules into themes.
A lot of it will appear to look the same, as like I say all the changes will not be visible, but I can assure you, a lot of work has gone into this update, which is why it has taken so long.
My BlackMagic theme will now be the new default theme for the CMS, but only the basic version of the theme, The BlackMagic theme will now have a pro version, which can still be purchased from my site (after I have made it lol).
This new update will update 2.0.9F to 2.0.10
2.0.10 Update Work Done.
More responsiveness coding.
New default theme.
hundreds of fixes.
old and obsolete modules and blocks have been removed until they are recoded (will be updated in the near future).
A lot of SQL have been moved around and dropped.
2.0.11
PHP 8.0 code changes (have already done so many of the changes needed, just needs finished off, just not done in time for this release)
2.0.12
Fingers croppsed this should be the plugin system, which will eliminate the need for core file editing.
2.0.13
Admin area update, this will be a very big change, as with the new plugins system, the admin will pull all required settings and such from the plugin file itself, and list all the options itself, without the need to fuss with core coding in the admin area.
Blocks update: Will allow us to use plain HTML inside block files, as of right now, the content has to be added into a variable known as "$content" and then echoed out in theme files.
3.0.0
Major overhaul of the CMS, Coding cleaned up everywhere, all functions will have comment headers, explaining exact what they are used for and how they work, the old PHPBB forums ripped out and a new forum plugin will be added.
Side note: I have listed a lot of information here, but please do not spam me with messages about when these updates will be ready, There is only two us working with Xtreme Evolution and we also need some time to do the things we like to do, such as Gaming and general IRL things. I will try and keep you updated as much as I can with how we are getting on.

Holy shnikeys, this is amaze-balls, thank you Lonestar!
Update is finished, will be sending it to coRpSE Friday evening, so he can look over it and check for any bugs. Update should be avaiable at the weekend, providing coRpSE does not find a problem.

This is Awesome news Lonestar! Thank you and Corpse for keeping the community alive.

Thank you to you who do everything to allow us to have better things on nuke evolution
Sorry for the further delay, We ran into a problem grabbing the settings from old tables while they were been moved to another settings table, We have since resolved the issue we think, Just have to have corpse test them again and we will release the udpate.

no problem, we can wait!
keep up the good work!
keep up the good work!
waiting for you is better

I am sure the wait will be well worth it.

Update will be released this Sunday, everyone who is wanting to upgrade, is advised to do a back up of their current site, this includes both files and SQL databases, that may be tied to your website.
Any themes that you want to be upgraded to the new update will need to be submitted in this forum to be modified, Any commercial themes will need to be sent via Private Messaging please.
Themes may take a while to upgrade, this update it as simple as changing function names, so need to be re-coded completely as some have been badly coded in the past, by badly I mean, image sizes need to be stated, the over use of the same style ID's and so on.
Just bare with us while we get them updated for you.
