Forum Authorization Permission Issue – Resolved & Fix Available

I want to address a permissions-related bug reported by Megaboost regarding forum access controls.

Issue Summary

When forum permissions were configured to restrict access exclusively to registered users, unregistered guests were still able to view and access forum content. This was inconsistent with the intended permission settings.

Resolution

I have identified the root cause and implemented a complete fix. The download package has been updated to include the corrected files, which are attached to this post.

Installation Instructions

To apply the fix:

• Download the attached archive file.
  
• Upload all contents to your website root directory, preserving the folder and file structure exactly as shown in the archive.
  
• Overwrite the existing files when prompted.
  

This update will ensure permission restrictions are correctly enforced—only users matching your configured access levels will be able to access the forums going forward.
